Conductor

Oleh Marynchenko (conductor) studied at the conducting and choral department at the Kyiv Lysenko Special Music School. In 2004, he graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine and post graduate study as a composer (class of Hanna Havrylets). In 2013 he graduated from National Music Academy of Ukraine as a conductor of the opera and symphony orchestra (class of professor Allin Vlasenko). Scholar of the Kyiv City Mayor for Gifted Youth (2005) Laureate of the State award named after Levko Revutskyi (2015).

Since 1999, he has been collaborating as a composer and arranger with leading musical ensembles of Ukraine, such as: National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, National Chamber Ensemble “Kyiv Soloists”, Odesa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, Kyiv Municipal Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet for Children and Youth, Kyiv National Academic Theater of Operetta, etc. Since 2004 he has been working in the National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyivska Kamerata” as an arranger, since 2013 – as a conductor.

Oleg Marychenko’s repertoire includes works of different genres and styles – from orchestral miniatures to operas and musicals, from baroque music to works of contemporary composers. He performed premieres of works by Yevhen Stankovych, Valentin Sylvestrov, Volodymyr Zahortsev, Yuriy Shevchenko, Zoltan Almashi and other Ukrainian composers. Among the soloists with whom he works as a conductor are such well-known names as Bohdana Pivnenko (violin), Dmytro Tkachenko (violin), Kyrylo Bondar (violin), Myroslava Khomik (violin), Inna Galatenko (soprano), Nina Matvienko (folk-soprano), Dmytro Tavanets (piano).
