Culture connects and opens up opportunities: this is the message of the National Ensemble of Soloist “KYIV CAMERATA ORCHESTRA” that is worth seeing and hearing.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1977, the ensemble is today more than ever an important mediator of Ukrainian and world culture. The program with which the musicians are now visiting Germany reflects the firm anchoring of Ukrainian music in the European tradition. The selection of pieces builds a bridge from Antonio Vivaldi, who with his \u201cSeasons\u201d is something like the \u201cfather of the solo concerto\u201d, to Astor Piazolla \u2013 \u201cGreat Astor\u201d with four great tangos or a lyrical suite about the feelings and fate of a \u201csmall\u201d person in a big city, as does Zoltan H. Almashi. Born in 1975, the composer, cellist and protagonist of Ukrainian musical life deliberately creates a synthesis of tradition and innovation in his style.<\/p>\n

While Vivaldi\u2019s music is dominated by spring and Piazzolla\u2019s by summer with the taste of salty sea water, Almashi\u2019s seasons exist in a different algorithm of time, which is not enough to enjoy life.<\/p>\n

Soloist BOGDANA PIVNENKO, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, winner of international competitions, is the outstanding Ukrainian violinist whose brilliant technique and musicality thrill audiences all over the world.<\/p>\n
